Premium 4-Week Postnatal Recovery & Newborn Care Package

Package of 4 weeks of midwifery care that includes approximately 8-10 home visits. Care offered within 1.5 hours of Shaftesbury, Dorset. Please contact me to confirm availability prior to booking.

The fourth trimester is a time of profound adjustment and transformation. I am committed to ensuring that your transition into parenthood is supported with empathy, respect, and the professional care you deserve. With enhanced postnatal care, you will receive individual support to help you confidently navigate this new chapter. All visits take place in the comfort of your own home.

During your postnatal visits, we focus not only on physical healing, but also on emotional well-being. Whether you’re a first-time parent or already an expert mother, I will provide essential postnatal care for you and baby, breastfeeding support, and emotional guidance through this transition. We’ll also discuss the practical aspects of caring for your baby and your own recovery from birth and more:

• Birth reflection: An opportunity to process and reflect on your birth experience

• Maternal Care: I’ll monitor you to ensure your health and body is progressing and healing well

• Emotional well-being: Supportive, non-judgmental space for you to share your feelings and concerns as you transition into motherhood.

• Baby care: Routine observations, NIPE within 72 hours of birth, breastfeeding support, weighing on day 5 and 10, newborn bloodspot screening test on day 5.
